Franziska Huck

International Relations and Student Manager

My name is Franziska Huck and I am more than thrilled to be part of the ISO team.

A trip with a campingvan across Portugal, a cooking course for Ramen in Japan or a walk through the markets and narrow streets of Marrakesh – staying at home on my couch was probably always the hardest challenge for me. Ever since my stay abroad in the United States I use every free minute to get to know new countries, people and cultures.I made my first international experience when I was 16 years old: I spent my high school year with an American host family in Minnesota (USA). To be able to discover a country in such an intense way through the High School, the food but also the incredible people was an unique experience for me I would never want to miss. Within this time I had the opportunity to develop in particularly myself and could pick up a lot of the openness of the Americans.

In addition, my International Business Studies degree at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover prepared me for a professional environment with an focus on cultural and linguistic competencies. In particularly through my internship in Oregon (USA) and my two semester abroad in Ireland, I was able to look at situations from different angles and deal flexible with them. Here I learned how important it is to look beyond one’s own nose and face new challenges. I look forward to helping students get ready for their study abroad adventure!
