Learn English in the US – English Language Programs at National University
National University offers a variety of English language programs to meet the different needs and goals of students at different levels of English competency. Experienced and caring instructors teach in engaging and interactive course settings that are fun and will improve your command of the language. Each English Language Program offered at National University teaches you methods of applying your newly acquired skills and provides you with an exploration of contemporary American culture.
University Preparation Program
The University Preparation Program prepares you for everyday life at an American university. Upon your arrival, you will be assigned to one of the eight language levels according to your previous knowledge. Each of the eight modules lasts four weeks with 24 course hours per week. The first six courses will lead you to a basic understanding of English and the last two courses will prepare you for academic work at the university level. You’ll learn how to write term papers, receive tips on how to research efficiently, and get to know various citation styles according to the U.S. guidelines.
