My name is Sabine Sachs and I am the Managing Director of the International Student Office. I completed my MBA in San Diego, USA. All in all I spent more than three years living and studying in California \u2013 a time I will never forget.<\/p>\n

Upon completion of my MBA in the US, I represented the university in Germany and Europe, building institutional cooperation projects and partnerships. In my position of Director of International Business Development I established a broad network with European business universities. It was during this time that I realized the difficulties universities abroad face in bringing their profiles closer to European students, and on the other hand the need students feel to receive accurate information on their study opportunities abroad.<\/p>\n

During my time as Director of International Business Development, other universities in English-speaking countries approached me with their wish to have their European offices headed by me and my team as well. This provided me with the chance to expand our offer of study options abroad and to join four non-competing universities from Australia, Canada, and the USA in one International Student Office located in Darmstadt, Germany. Our team works very closely with our colleagues abroad and as their direct office in Europe we are able to assist interested students with first-hand information and in different languages.<\/p>\n

Mein \"Sabine<\/a>Name ist Sabine Sachs und ich bin Leiterin des International Student Office Germany (ISOgermany). Schon w\u00e4hrend meines Studiums an der California International Business University (CIBU) in San Diego habe ich f\u00fcr diese internationale Kooperationen aufgebaut. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss meines MBA-Studiums habe ich erst aus San Diego und dann in Deutschland f\u00fcr die CIBU als Director of International Business Developement gearbeitet, das Netzwerk mit Business Schools immer mehr ausgeweitet und die Universit\u00e4t in Europa repr\u00e4sentiert. Dabei ist mir bewusst geworden, wie schwierig es auf der einen Seite f\u00fcr die Universit\u00e4ten ist, ihr Profil den Studierenden n\u00e4her zu bringen, auf der anderen Seite wie gro\u00df der Bedarf bei Studenten ist, genaue Informationen \u00fcber die Studienm\u00f6glichkeiten im Ausland zu erhalten.<\/p>

W\u00e4hrend meiner zun\u00e4chst exklusiven Arbeit f\u00fcr die CIBU sind immer wieder andere ausl\u00e4ndische Universit\u00e4ten mit der Bitte, auch ihr internationales Studenten B\u00fcro in Deutschland zu leiten, auf mich zugekommen. F\u00fcr mich ergab sich dadurch die M\u00f6glichkeit, das Auslandsstudienangebot auf weitere L\u00e4nder und Studienschwerpunkte auszuweiten und die 4 Unis in einem deutschen B\u00fcro zu vereinen. So k\u00f6nnen wir unseren Studenten eine kostenlose, umfangreiche und direkte Beratung in Deutschland anbieten.<\/p>
