<\/a>\nI definitely know by now the answer after taking this course and I have to admit, the course changed my perception of sustainability and my personal impact on it.
\nSo what is the course about? First of all, you will learn in this course what sustainability is all about. You will be provided with different theories and approaches related to sustainability and also learn more about sustainability in Canada. Obviously, Germany is leading in sustainable measures and therefore, German students can contribute a lot to the course by sharing their experiences.
\nIn groups, you will be able to pick a sustainability topic you would like to present to the class. The presentations are quite long due to discussions, which usually arise from the presentation. Part of the class is also a sustainable audit which will be done in groups as well. For the audit, you will have to find a national or international company and do the B Impact Assessment to find out, how sustainable the company is. The assessment will also assist you in developing measures and an action plan to improve the company\u2019s sustainability. The project will be done at the end of the class so you will have the necessary knowledge by that time to be a consultant for the company. And you never know, it might also help you to enlarge your personal network and to find a new job opportunity ;-)<\/p>\n

For this course, you have to write two exams, one midterm and one final. Both tests contain essay questions, but if you attended class, it should not be a big problem for you.
