Study Abroad Scholarship USA: Semester Abroad

University of North Carolina Wilmington:

International Students studying abroad at University of North Carolina Wilmington can apply for a study abroad scholarship awarded by the German office of UNCW once per semester.

Scholarships: 1 study abroad scholarships per year

1 X Reduction of 1.000 EUR for the tuition fees for a semester abroad in autumn
(Starting Date: August until December)

Westcliff University:

Scholarships: 3 study abroad scholarships per year

1 X Reduction of 500 EUR for the tuition fees for a semester abroad in spring (Starting Date: January through June)

1 X Reduction of 500 EUR & 1X reducation of 1.000 EUR for the tuition fees for a semester abroad in fall (Starting Date: July through October)

Scholarship Requirements

You are qualified for a scholarship, if

you have applied for a study abroad term through the International Student Office and have successfully been enrolled at University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) or Westcliff University (WU)
You are willing to write 10 different experience reports during your study abroad term (5 in English and 5 in your native language) with about 400-600 words each including three self-taken photos about your experiences abroad, take 8 short videos (90-180 seconds) for us or prepare 10 facebook or instagram postings.

Scholarship Application

If you are interested to share your adventure of studying abroad through informative and creative/innovative reports for future students on our website, we are looking forward to your creative and interesting application. Please submit the following documents:

Curriculum Vitae with Passport Photo in English
Letter of motivation or – video in English with a minimum of/at least 500 words about the topic: “What to expect from a study abroad period at University of North Carolina WIlmington?” or “What to expect from a study abroad period at Westcliff University?”

Please send your scholarship application for a study abroad term in fall until June, 15 and for a study abroad term in spring until November, 15 via email to your contact person at the International Student Office or to info@iso-mail.org. Winners will be notified by July or January via email.
