WU Ambassador 2024

Hello,
My name is Johanna Arnim and I am 26 years old. I’m actually studying medicine in Germany, but I wanted to learn more about economics abroad.

I was at Westcliff University in Irvine from January to March 24. The university is characterized by great courses and a very international audience, which I particularly liked there. I completed the Organizational Leadership and Decision Management courses with great enthusiasm. The professor who taught Organizational Leadership in particular was very enthusiastic and engaging, his subject was fun every week. Very interactive and challenging.

Studying in the USA is somewhat different to studying in Germany. It’s more about lots of papers and less about exams, which is definitely worth the experience. The university organized several international events where you could make friends. If you like the exchange between many different cultures, you should definitely go to Westcliff.

Otherwise, you can experience a lot in California. Los Angeles is just around the corner and is a world metropolis that you should explore. I also recommend everyone to take advantage of the proximity to the beach. The beach and good weather are guaranteed.
