Ina Wagenblatt
Head of International Student Office
My name is Ina Wagenblatt and I was infected by the so-called “travel bug” when I was still in high school. I spent one semester in France and one semester in Canada in order to improve both my English and my French language skills and to get to know these two fascinating countries. After graduation, I spent a few months in the US working at a typical summer camp and traveling along the west coast. I decided to go to Reunion Island, a small tropical island in the middle of the Indian ocean, for my semester abroad during my bachelor studies. After having graduated from university, I realized my big dream and traveled around Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam for 11 months. Whenever possible, I explored a new destination in our beautiful world!
During my studies in Cologne and Passau, I selected a major in “International Communication, Languages and Business Studies” and then moved to Berlin for my first job, working for a high school exchange organization, where I counseled students on a high school year abroad in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Ireland.
Whether it was studying or working abroad or just traveling the world – the experiences I made and the people I met shaped my life and enriched it immensely. I very much enjoy having friends all over the world that I get to see during my travels. Me and my team look forward to helping you realize your dream of studying abroad!
